Your scripts and videos belong to you.

Effective October 3, 2026. This policy covers the Duo Prompt iPhone app and this support website, operated by Jay Fan.

Scripts and recordings

The app stores your script, reading settings, successful recordings, and free-recording allowance in its local storage. It does not send these to a developer server. Apple's device backup can include app data according to your device settings.

Camera and microphone

Camera access shows your preview and records video. Microphone access records your voice in the same video. Permission is used for capture; the app does not stream video or audio to us.

Purchases

Apple processes payment. Duo Prompt uses Apple's StoreKit to verify and restore the unlimited-recording unlock. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles transaction information under its own privacy policy.

Sharing and deletion

Sharing sends the video you select to the destination you choose through the iOS share sheet. That destination's policies apply. Deleting a saved take is permanent. Removing the app deletes its local data; export important videos first. Device backups may retain copies.

Accounts, tracking, and support

The app has no app account, advertising, tracking, or analytics SDK. If you email support, we receive the email address and any information you choose to send. Do not send private videos or sensitive scripts unless needed for your request. We use support emails only to respond and troubleshoot. Email providers process these messages under their own policies.

This website

Cloudflare hosts this static website and may process standard technical request information, including IP addresses, for delivery and security. The website uses no advertising cookies or analytics scripts.
